The Faded Mod Installer is planned as an optional tool to make installing Faded Mods easier for Project Zomboid players.

Safety Notice

The installer will only place Faded Mods files into the local Project Zomboid mods folder. It will not modify Project Zomboid base game files, Steam files, or unrelated system files.


FadedMods Workshop Access, Confidentiality, and Restricted Party Agreement

By accessing, downloading, viewing, installing, copying, inspecting, testing, extracting, unpacking, reverse engineering, decompiling, analyzing, or otherwise using any file, mod, source file, asset, package, manifest, installer, archive, codebase, artwork, texture, model, documentation, metadata, or related material made available through the FadedMods Workshop, FadedMods website, FadedMods installer, private mod repository, private download portal, or any related distribution channel, you agree to the following legally binding terms.

1. Confidential Workshop Materials

All content made available through the FadedMods Workshop is private, confidential, proprietary, and access-restricted unless expressly marked otherwise in writing by FadedMods.

“Workshop Materials” include, but are not limited to:

• mod files;
• source code;
• compiled code;
• Lua files;
• Java files;
• textures;
• models;
• sprites;
• artwork;
• icons;
• UI assets;
• installers;
• manifests;
• file structures;
• documentation;
• configuration files;
• testing builds;
• unpublished concepts;
• private server tools;
• internal mod descriptions;
• asset references;
• dependency structures;
• and any other content distributed through FadedMods-controlled channels.

Access to the Workshop Materials is granted only for the limited purpose expressly authorized by FadedMods.

2. Non-Disclosure Agreement

You agree that you will not disclose, transmit, share, summarize, reproduce, report, describe, publish, forward, screenshot, upload, mirror, redistribute, leak, or otherwise communicate the contents, structure, files, code, assets, behavior, design, or technical details of any Workshop Materials to any unauthorized third party.

This prohibition specifically includes disclosure to:

• The Indie Stone;
• any employee, contractor, moderator, community representative, agent, attorney, investigator, affiliate, or representative of The Indie Stone;
• any person acting on behalf of The Indie Stone;
• any third party seeking information for enforcement, takedown, moderation, investigation, copying, review, competitive, or hostile purposes;
• and any public or private forum, Discord server, Steam discussion, GitHub repository, file host, website, or social media platform not expressly authorized by FadedMods.

Any unauthorized disclosure is a material breach of this Agreement.

3. Restricted Parties

The Indie Stone, including its owners, employees, contractors, agents, moderators, community representatives, affiliates, investigators, legal representatives, and any person acting directly or indirectly on its behalf, is strictly prohibited from accessing, downloading, installing, copying, inspecting, testing, extracting, unpacking, reverse engineering, decompiling, analyzing, or otherwise using any Workshop Materials without prior written authorization from FadedMods.

Any access by a Restricted Party is unauthorized unless FadedMods has provided express written permission.

4. No License Granted

Access to the FadedMods Workshop does not grant ownership, copyright transfer, redistribution rights, sublicensing rights, commercial rights, derivative-work rights, inspection rights, audit rights, reverse-engineering rights, or any implied license except the limited permission expressly granted by FadedMods in writing.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Unauthorized Access and Conditional Reciprocal Permission

Any Restricted Party who accesses, downloads, installs, copies, inspects, tests, extracts, unpacks, reverse engineers, decompiles, analyzes, or otherwise uses Workshop Materials despite being prohibited from doing so agrees that such access constitutes knowing acceptance of this Agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, any Restricted Party who violates this access restriction grants FadedMods, Luis Torres, and authorized FadedMods representatives a reciprocal, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid permission to reference, inspect, analyze, compare, document, and use any assets, code, files, claims, communications, evidence, or materials presented by that Restricted Party in connection with any dispute, investigation, enforcement action, moderation action, takedown, copyright claim, platform complaint, or legal controversy involving the Workshop Materials.

Nothing in this section waives FadedMods’ ownership rights, copyright rights, trade secret rights, contractual rights, or remedies.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• share Workshop Materials with unauthorized users;
• send Workshop Materials to The Indie Stone or its agents;
• assist The Indie Stone or its agents in accessing Workshop Materials;
• upload Workshop Materials to Steam, GitHub, Discord, Google Drive, Dropbox, Nexus, ModDB, forums, or other distribution platforms without written permission;
• use Workshop Materials to support takedowns, reports, moderation complaints, or enforcement actions against FadedMods;
• inspect or extract Workshop Materials for copying, cloning, derivative works, competitive use, or hostile review;
• remove attribution, credits, ownership notices, license notices, or file metadata;
• bypass download restrictions, account restrictions, installer restrictions, or access controls.

7. Liability for Breach

Any violation of this Agreement may cause irreparable harm to FadedMods, including loss of confidentiality, loss of goodwill, damage to community operations, damage to server continuity, loss of creative control, and misuse of proprietary work.

A violating party may be liable for all available remedies, including but not limited to:

• actual damages;
• statutory damages where available;
• injunctive relief;
• recovery of costs;
• attorney’s fees where allowed;
• account termination;
• permanent loss of access;
• DMCA enforcement where applicable;
• breach-of-contract claims;
• trade-secret claims where applicable;
• and any other remedy available under law or equity.

8. Preservation of Rights

FadedMods reserves all rights, claims, defenses, and remedies relating to the Workshop Materials. Failure to immediately enforce any part of this Agreement does not waive the right to enforce it later.

9. Acceptance

By clicking below, I confirm that I have read and agree to the FadedMods Workshop Access, Confidentiality, and Restricted Party Agreement. I understand that the files are private, confidential, and access-restricted.

If you do not agree, you are not authorized to access, download, view, install, inspect, or use any Workshop Materials.

Once installed insert the manifest URL in the Settings tab.
