Parent's Journal
A keepsake from home. With Parent's Journal, every new survivor starts with Dad's Journal or Mom's Journal. Read it once, answer a few questions about your parent, and earn bonus skill XP and personality traits based on your answers.
Starts in your pocket
Every new character gets Dad's or Mom's Journal, chosen automatically.
A short quiz
Right-click the journal, choose Read Journal, and answer a vanilla-styled quiz about your parent.
Real rewards
Each answer grants bonus XP in one or two related vanilla skills, and some also grant a vanilla personality trait.
One time only
Once you submit, the journal is consumed and the quiz never appears again for that character.
Requirements
Project Zomboid Build 42.20.2+. Single-player and multiplayer.
