A complete hunting system for Build 42. Faded's Hunters Calling adds tracking, trapping, calls and scents, field dressing, meat preservation, hide curing, hunting rifles and bows, all organized in a responsive three-pane Hunter's Fieldbook.

Hunter's Fieldbook

A three-pane fieldbook that leaves the center of the screen clear and scales up to 4K, with wind-aware scent.

Rifles and bows

Five .308 hunting rifles, a cleaning kit, four bows, and wooden and broadhead arrows.

Boar, bait and blinds

Wild boar sounders, three bait and feeder tiers, and a folding hunting tripod.

Calls and scents

Timed scent lures and learned animal calls with server-authoritative attraction in multiplayer.

Field to table

Field dressing, meat drying, raw, salted and cured hides, sinew, a charcoal smokehouse, marinades, jerky and an outdoor game cellar.

Dedicated-server racks

CraftBench leather and plant racks and a kiln rack that finish on dedicated servers, where vanilla drying racks don't.

What's new in 2.2.6

Build 42.22 (2.2.6) — Java plugin support for Project Zomboid Build 42.22.
42.21 models — local static and world model references are qualified so they resolve on Build 42.21, and the displayed version matches the package.

Requirements

Project Zomboid Build 42.20.2 – 42.21.0. No required dependencies; optional Faded Java Loader 0.3.4+ acceleration. Compatible with CSR, ClearView UI, Faded Arsenal, FWP, Faded Farms Forever and Feastcraft. Don't run Hunter Expansion, SmokerB42, Animals On Map, Small Aquarium or Off the Grid Orchard alongside it.
