Explore Kentucky from the saddle. Chocobo Go adds Chocobo companions with riding, passenger seats, Gysahl farming, breeding, color-matched feathers and fitted travel gear, with original animation and a Final Fantasy-inspired journal.

Raise a companion

Hens, cocks and chicks join the native animal system. Feed, pet and bond with your bird, claim it and call it within the loaded area.

Ride and share

Walk, trot or gallop with stamina and travel bond, saddled or bareback, and open a rear seat for another player.

Five colors

Yellow, green, blue, black and rare gold birds, each with its own stamina, recovery or speed bonuses.

Breeding

Pair a bonded hen and cock in a stable with fresh greens, and see possible offspring and odds in the nursery journal.

Travel gear

Saddlebags (40 capacity), reins, barding, camping packs, saddle lights, and rifle bags or scabbards on each saddle rail.

Mounted actions

Defensive kicks, low-fence crossings, mounted foraging at Foraging 5, and native firearm aiming and reloading.

Build 42.22 (0.1.4) — released for Project Zomboid Build 42.22.
Feather models (0.1.2) — adds the missing 3D chocobo-feather world and inventory models, with color-matched plumage items.

Requirements

Project Zomboid Build 42.20.4 through 42.22. Full features require Faded Java Loader 0.3.4 and FadedJavaLoaderBridge on the server and every participating client. Single-player and multiplayer. Barding changes looks and speed, not protection. Chocobo Go is a Final Fantasy fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Square Enix.
